Frequently asked questions
Code delivery, redemption, regions and crypto payments.
How and when will I receive my code?
For crypto payments (USDT, ETH, BTC, SOL), codes are emailed to your delivery address once your transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, usually within 10–60 minutes.
Card and wallet payments (Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay) are coming soon.
Can't find it? Check your spam or promotions folder, then contact support with your order reference.
How do I redeem a Steam Wallet code?
- Sign in to your Steam account in the Steam app or at store.steampowered.com.
- Click your account name in the top-right corner and select Account details.
- Choose Add funds to your Steam Wallet.
- Click Redeem a Steam Gift Card or Wallet Code.
- Enter the code from your delivery email and click Continue. The balance is added immediately.
Codes can only be redeemed once. Never share your code with anyone who contacts you claiming to be from Steam or Steam Vault.
How do I pay with crypto?
- Place your order and choose USDT, ETH, BTC or SOL. You'll get a unique order reference starting with SV-.
- Get the payment details on the confirmation screen: the exact coin amount (based on the live market rate), the network and our wallet address.
- Send exactly that amount on the network shown, within 30 minutes. Coins sent on the wrong network can't be recovered.
- Send us your transaction ID (hash) with your order reference through the support form. This is how we match your payment.
- Delivery: once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, your codes are emailed.
No crypto yet? Buy the coin on a service such as Coinbase, MoonPay or Crypto.com (not affiliated with us), adding about 3–5% for fees. Then use the app's Send / Withdraw option to pay the address and network on your confirmation screen. It's a secure way to pay: your card and bank details stay with the exchange and are never shared with us, you approve the exact amount yourself, and every payment can be verified on the public blockchain with its transaction ID.
Crypto payments can't be reversed, so double-check the address and network before sending. Unpaid orders are cancelled after 24 hours. If you underpaid, we'll ask you to send the difference before releasing your codes.
Is paying with crypto safe?
Crypto can be a safe way to pay online if you follow a few simple rules. You never share card numbers, bank logins or billing details with us. You approve every payment yourself from your own wallet, and each transaction is publicly recorded on the blockchain so it can be traced with its transaction ID.
The trade-off: crypto payments are final. Unlike card payments, there are no chargebacks, so mistakes can't be undone. To stay safe:
- Only pay to the address on your order confirmation on this website. We never send wallet addresses by email, DM, Telegram or social media.
- Match the network. USDT, for example, exists on several networks. Sending on the wrong one means the funds are lost.
- Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone, including people claiming to be Steam Vault or Steam support.
- Paste, then verify. Compare the first and last characters of the address after pasting to guard against clipboard malware.
- Send from a wallet you control, such as your own wallet app or exchange account, and keep the transaction ID until your codes arrive.
Something look wrong? Stop before sending and contact support with your order reference.
What's the difference between Global and US region cards?
Global codes redeem on Steam accounts in any supported region and convert to your wallet's local currency at Steam's rate.
US codes redeem only on accounts whose Steam store region is the United States. Check your region under Account details before buying.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept crypto only: Tether (USDT), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC) and Solana (SOL). Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay are coming soon. PayPal, other e-wallets and gift cards are not accepted.
Which denominations can I buy?
Five fixed face values: $50, $100, $250, $500 and $1,000. Custom amounts below $50 or above $1,000 are not available. You can buy up to 10 of each card per order.
Can I get a refund?
Because codes are digital and redeemable instantly, they are non-refundable once delivered. If a code doesn't work, contact support and we'll investigate and replace any faulty code.
